Wishy Announce Debut Album Triple Seven, Reveal New Single “Love on the Outdoors”: Stream

Wishy, the indie rock quintet fronted by Indiana songwriters Kevin Krauter and Nina Pitchkites, have introduced their debut album, Triple Seven, out August sixteenth through Winspear.

Triple Seven arrives after the band’s pair of 2023 EPs — Mana and final December’s wonderful Paradise. Beforehand, Krauter launched two solo albums and performed within the dream pop band Hoops, whereas Pitchkites fronted the electro-pop band Push Pop. Their dreamy, guitar-forward sound is indebted ’90s shoegaze and indie rock staples like My Bloody Valentine and The Sundays.

As a preview for Triple Seven, the band has shared “Love on the Outdoors,” an anthemic energy pop monitor with Krauter taking the lead. Sounding like a forgotten late ’90s various radio hit, “Love on the Outdoors” encompasses a seismic refrain and a blistering bridge that turns right into a feedback-ridden outro; Krauter narrates the start modes of a relationship, and all of the whereas, the band toggles between sedating dream pop and frenetic, joyful rock.
